Contemporary
Compete for the best performance of:
Pop/R&B Vocals, Musical Theatre, Jazz Standards

Group
Compete for the best performance of:
A cappella, Accompanied, Folk/Traditional

Eligibility:
The contest is open to members of The Philharmonic Society of Selangor and members of the public. There is no age limit for all categories. Entry fees may be paid on day of competition.

About SongFest The vision of the Philharmonic Society of Selangor is to provide accessible opportunities for learning, producing and presenting high quality performances in the performing arts through fellowship, fun activities and education. In line with our vision, we believe that SongFest, which aims to promote the art of singing and to develop, encourage and discover new singing talents, will become a platform for aspiring singers to display their talent and to perform in public. We hope that, though the experience and exposure gained from participation in SongFest, the local music scene will be enriched with new talents. SongFest is envisaged to be an annual event, and dates of future SongFest Singing Competitions will be posted on this blog and at our website, www.thephil.org.my.
